Chris Winogradzki received his Master in Architecture with highest honors from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1977.The next year he won first prize in a shopping center competition and during that period he was involved in preliminary and developmental planning for large multi-family housing projects, shopping centers and schools.
In 1979 Mr. Winogradzki brought his talents to Germany where he became involved with the planning, design and the supervision of construction for multi and single family housing, manufacturing, warehouse facilities, and shopping centers. With his knowledge and appreciation of Architecture he participated in the planning and design of redevelopment projects where he directed the restoration and rehabilitation of buildings classified as historical monuments.
In 1982, while in Germany he became an independent licensed Architect, opening his own office in Bochum. Mr.Winogradzki successfully operated this firm until 1985 when he made the decision to move to the United States.
In 1985 he came to Chicago. His twelve year career here began at Lindquist & Oakley Architects, then some extensive work with another Architectural firm, Harris and Kwasek.

Mr. Winogradzki then moved to Robert Lyon & Associates where he served as a Project Architect. During those years he became involved with planning, preparation of working drawings and contract documents and construction management. Some of his other responsibilities included design,field management, and construction supervision for commercial offices, banks and Medical Facilities, as well as the restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings.
In 1992, Mr. Winogradzki opened his own architectural office. Some of his more recent projects include new single family homes, multi-family houses, new row houses, new warehouses, additions to residential and commercial buildings, as well as interior design for restaurants and banquet halls.
Since October of 1995 he has been a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), and since June 1996 he is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
In July of 2000, Chris Winogradzki became the president of Danwin Construction Company , Inc., specializing in constructions for new single family homes.For the next six years Chris strictly focused on “Design and Building” projects. This time brought him a lot of new important knowledge to his profession. His eyes became like X-rays any time he design new house or walk to the construction side.
In August of 2007 Chris enrolled himself to the TritonCollege architectural department. He begun study Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. He completed this course at the end of 2008. At the same time he started to implement this new technology in his new projects. This new way of design brought him already a lot of compliments from his clients. His company changed completely it’s architectural approach and started to focus on using mainly Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology utilizing Autodesk “Revit” software.
In 2017 Chris has opened his second office in Sarasota, Florida where he provides full range of architectural and construction services.
